Beck Goes Hip-Hop on New Single, "Wow"
Beck going back to his old formula.
Last year, Beck won a Grammy Award for album of the year when he released folk record, Morning Phase. Now it appears, he’s shifting gears with today’s release of “Wow,” a wacky new rap track in which Beck drops verses like “standing on your lawn doing jiu-jitsu with girl in a bikini with the Lamborghini shih tzu.” This is the same mischievous sound approach Beck took 20 years ago with his smash hit “Odelay.” Listen below.
