Amazon's 'Lord of the Rings' Series Will Run 5 Seasons
Season one is all about Aragorn.

Amazon’s billion-dollar Lord of the Rings series has been confirmed to contain five seasons, the first of which will prominently feature Aragorn, the inevitable king of Middle Earth.
As opposed to highlighting the quests of the Hobbits during the beginning, it has been revealed the series won’t be a retelling of the Lord of the Rings films and will draw its influence from author J.R.R Tolkien’s books and the character backstories. It has also been confirmed that the series won’t even cover the War of the Ring.
In other news, a new Lord of the Rings book, The Fall of Gondolin, is releasing this year.
