Toyota Launches New GT86 Club Series Blue Edition
Named after its distinct “Electric Blue” paintwork.
Following its Orange Edition (which resembles the limited 86 Tiger), Toyota has launched a new GT86 in the UK called the Club Series Blue Edition for its distinct “Electric Blue” paintwork. Alongside its exclusive color are contrasting black details on the front and rear spoiler, as well as the rear diffuser, door mirror housings and front fog light surrounds. A Performance pack is available for customers which includes Sachs-tuned suspension, bigger Brembo brakes, and red calipers on an alternate 17-inch design for the wheels.
Like the GT86 Pro, the Club Series Blue Edition’s equipment levels include a limited-slip differential, dusk-sensing headlights, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, heated front seats, LED lights on the front and rear, as well as a Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system as standard. Customers have the option of either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission, but the car retains its 2.0-liter flat-four engine with 197hp.
The Toyota GT86 Club Series Blue Edition starts at £29,980 GBP (approximately $39,846 USD), with the Performance Pack models beginning at £30,455 GBP (approximately $40,477 USD). The car will be available starting June 1.
