Toyota Unveils an Extremely Limited 86 "Tiger"
There are only 30 units and they’re only available in one country.
Toyota‘s resurrected 86 — essentially a rebranded Scion FR-S and a contemporary reimagining of the beloved Hachi-Roku — was one of the most welcome automotive sights of 2016 and now Initial D fans are in for a treat as a limited edition version of the vehicle has surfaced. Aptly dubbed the “Tiger,” this special take on the 86 comes finished in “Tiger Orange” with “Velvet Black” accents throughout and sees the addition of SACHS sports dampers along with an Alcantara and suede interior. Orange accents even make an appearance throughout the tweaked cabin, as does a brushed aluminum 86 Tiger badge.
Sadly for 86 fans, the Tiger is limited to just 30 units — and all of them will be available in Germany. The car is expected to hit select dealerships later this month with a price tag of €34,990 EUR (approximately $37,179 USD).
