The Lonely Island Debuts New Single "Finest Girl" On 'Saturday Night Live'
Promoting the upcoming film ‘Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping’ starring Samberg.
The Lonely Island’s Andy Samberg will be starring in a film entitled Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, due out June 3. In an effort to promote the film, The Lonely Island crew took to Saturday Night Live to debut a new single and video dubbed ”Finest Girl.” In it, frontman and SNL alum Samberg tributes the most beautiful girl he’s ever fallen in love with. Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping is directed by Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, and makes mockery of the over-the-top, pop music “superstar.” Originally, the film was introduced with a trailer featuring DJ Khaled and Usher.
