Balmain's Olivier Rousteing Is Collaborating with NikeLab
The designer revealed the partnership over Instagram.
Olivier Rousteing has confirmed that he will be designing a collaborative collection with sportswear giant Nike. While the Balmain Creative Director has long garnered mixed reviews from critics, it’s hard to deny his foothold in fashion today, especially considering his active social media account making him one of the most recognized personalities in the industry. With that said, Rousteing took to Instagram to declare the news, which consisted of three images featuring an OR logo and the Nike logo rendered in gold. While it remains to be seen what this collaboration will entail, it’s clear that Rousteing will be bringing his signature regal style to the Swoosh. The designer won’t be the first to partner with the brand either, as Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci just unveiled his latest collection with Nike. Stay tuned for more information.
