Red Hot Chili Peppers & Danger Mouse Share New Song, "The Getaway"
Their forthcoming album’s title single is here.
Last month, Red Hot Chili Peppers shared “Dark Necessities,” the first single from their forthcoming eleventh studio LP The Getaway. In anticipation of the album’s June 17th release, the iconic LA outfit have now shared the title track. RHCP enlisted Danger Mouse to head up production for “The Getaway,” and mixing was handled by Nigel Godrich. Frontman Anthony Kiedis recently underwent a stint in hospital due to “complications from the intestinal flu” but has now recovered and returned to touring. Hear “The Getaway” above.
