This Futuristic Bus Is Designed to Improve Traffic

A concept for a public transport bus offers a solution to the ongoing traffic issues. The approach to the Transit Elevated Bus or TEB is to raise the entire vehicle, allowing other commuters to pass underneath. Though the first animated video of the idea debuted nearly five years ago, a scale model was finally displayed at the China Beijing International High-Tech Expo this year. Important features to note about the concept include an impressive carrying capacity of 1,200 people, elevators to brings passengers from street level to seating, and lighting below the vehicle to ensure drivers can drive safely through. Trials are scheduled to start as early as the end of this year in China.
