Donald Trump’s Face Will Be Sculpted on a Glacier for $500,000 USD
As part of a climate change project called “Trumpmore.”
Finland-based climate change group Melting Ice recently announced its new environmental undertaking entitled “Project Trumpmore.” The organization is aiming to raise $500,000 USD to sculpt President Donald Trump‘s face into an iceberg. If the group successfully raises funds, it will launch a live stream of the construction. The sculpture will be approximately 115 feet tall and location details for the monument are still pending.
“Global warming is one of the most important issues and topics of today,” said Melting Ice chairman, Nicolas Prieto, in a statement. “There are still people who ponder whether it’s a real issue. We want to build the monument for all of us, so we can see how long the sculpture lasts before melting. Often people only believe something when they see it with their own eyes.”
Trump has publicly denied global warming is real in the past, claiming that climate change is a “hoax” and there is no proof that it’s occurring. “Massive record-setting snowstorm and freezing temperatures in U.S. Smart that GLOBAL WARMING hoaxsters changed name to CLIMATE CHANGE!” Trump tweeted back in February 2014.
