Nike Applies Snakeskin, Mesh & Nubuck Onto a Pair of Air Max 90 Models
“Sail/Sepia Stone” and “Gym Red/Habanero Red.”
Nike’s Air Max 90 has enjoyed a nice stretch over the past few weeks, including news of a potential red-hued collab alongside Virgil Abloh, not to mention taking on a variety of material mashups and bold tonal motifs. Next up for the retro runner is a pair of models that don snakeskin textile applications along the uppers.
Seen here in both “Sail/Sepia Stone” and “Gym Red/Habanero Red” versions, each shoe highlights the reptilian detail overlay along the toe box — making its way up the side region, with mesh hitting the vamp and heel and a nubuck panel swathing the mudguard area. Completing both renditions is the white Air-centric midsole and rugged rubber outsole combo. Priced at $130 USD, both Nike Air Max 90s are available online.
