Concert goers with tickets to the 2017 Soundset Music Festival in Minnesota had to have been disappointed this weekend when Lil Uzi Vert failed to make his scheduled appearance. Soundset’s official Twitter released a statement earlier, saying the rapper couldn’t make his performance due to illness.

Uzi and his camp have released no statement on why the rapper decided to cancel his show last minute, with a single tweet making its way from Uzi’s account early Monday morning. Despite the no show from Uzi, concert officials still say the show went on really well, with stellar performances from Lauren Hill and T.I., as well as a solid showing from the local artists.

It’s a shame that Soundset fans had to miss out on the electrifying rapper. Over the past few months, Lil Uzi Vert has become known for his outlandish stage dives and other concert antics. Uzi wasn’t the only rapper who changed their minds about appearing at Soundset. Earlier in the week, Mac Miller tweeted out that he would not be able to make his showing either.
