Japanese designer Fumito Ganryu, previously under the COMME des GARÇONS umbrella, will be launching a new label at menswear trade show Pitti Uomo in June. Following the Ganryu label’s discontinuation last year, the designer has been reserved but has decided to use the show’s “Designer Project” as a platform to reveal his new namesake brand.

According to a statement, the brand’s upcoming reveal will be “the pure essence of Ganryu’s personal style” as well as “modern and conceptual.” Details regarding the venue, showtime, or its date are currently unknown.

In related news, COS will present its “Soma” collection at Pitti Uomo 94.
