DJ Shadow Takes a Trip to Space for "The Mountain Will Fall" Video
Take a trip to space from the comfort of your computer.
DJ Shadow continues to support his forthcoming studio album and first full-length LP in five years. This time around, he’s dropping a new video for the title track off The Mountain Will Speak. Following the release of album cuts such as the intense Run The Jewels collaboration “Nobody Speak,” the video for “The Mountain Will Fall” now stands as the first song off Shadow’s upcoming album to receive the visual treatment. Fittingly, it’s a psychedelic, animated effort. Speaking on his creation, video director Marti Romances says:
As huge fans, it’s been a pleasure to collaborate with DJ Shadow on the graphics. We’re really excited by the project and look forward to an amazing come back. The peaceful and long momentum of the song inspired us to create something very unanimated and mysterious. The part we like the most is where we see the astronaut being shot into hyperspace and then we see that being part of that cosmic constellation at the end.
