Balenciaga Sets up Shop in Miami's Design District
Furnished by Demna Gvasalia himself.
Luxury Spanish fashion house Balenciaga continues to expand its global dominance, having recently opened up a flagship location in Miami’s Design District.
The industrial-styled retail-space features large storefront windows and functional solar panels. The building’s facade is then finished off by large BALENCIAGA lettering visible from the street. The two-storey space, which was designed by Demna Gvasalia, houses furniture similar to the label’s Paris flagship locations at Rue Saint-Honore and Avenue Montaigne. With the first floor dedicated to womenswear, a large exposed ceiling greets customers. Men can find the menswear collection on the second floor which is complimented by a large Balenciaga logo-printed carpet. If you find yourself in Miami, the store is open now.
