Earlier this week, BADBADNOTGOOD revealed plans to release their own project for the Late Night Tales series. Composed of 21 tracks, the Canadian quartet’s Late Night Tales was introduced to listeners via an expansive preview and sampler. “Every track on this comp was either shown to us by an incredible person or made by one of our friends. These artists, as well as many, many others, have influenced us to create and kept our deep love of music alive,” BBNG shared via an official press statement. “This mix will keep you company on a quiet night by yourself or with friends. You can check it out on the plane, the bus, a long walk, or any situation where you want a soundtrack for reflection and meditation.”

With the weekend upon us, Matthew Tavares, Chester Hansen, Leland Whitty and Alexander Sowinski have unveiled another new composition in support of their Late Night Tales contribution. Choosing to cook up a cover of a record from one of the group’s favorite artists, BBNG put their own creative spin on the Andy Shauf original “To You.” Previously, the BBNG musicians connected with close collaborator Kaytranada to produce a new single for Shay Lia.
