Want to Refresh Those Beat NMDs? Use a Hair Dryer to Eliminate Creases From the Midsole
A sneakerhead figured out this easy hack.
Tricks like using a toothbrush to clean your sneakers, or pouring baby powder under the soles to get the squeaky noise out of them are helpful tactics to revamp your shoes. A new DIY idea has been circling the Internet, mainly Reddit, and it’s proving to be legit. According to Reddit user Mr_JoNeZz, using a hair dryer can take the creases out of your sneakers. Other users have chimed in, and added that hair dryers can also help with Nike air bubbles. The “life pro tip,” as Mr__JoNeZz refers to it as, seems to predominately work on sneakers that feature an EVA foam, such as adidas’s Tubular, the EQT Adv, and the NMD silhouettes. It’s recommended that you use the hair dryer on a relatively low setting to avoid melting any glue on the shoes.
