2 Chainz Proposes to His Girlfriend at the Met Gala

Last night’s Met Gala was one of the biggest nights of the year, and featured a range of surprising new romantic revelations. Arguably the most shocking news was the announcement of Grimes’ relationship with Elon Musk, but the red carpet also saw 2 Chainz propose to his long-term partner Nakesha Ward.
Speaking to Complex after the proposal, 2 Chainz revealed that he had only been planning it since “about a minute ago.” There has previously been reports that 2 Chainz proposed to Ward backstage at the 2013 BET awards, although that has never been officially confirmed. The couple also have three children together.
