Vans & Spitfire Celebrate Team Icons With New Collaboration
Paying homage to Anthony Van Engelen, Kyle Walker, Chima Ferguson and John Cardiel.
Vans rejoins heritage skate label Spitfire for a capsule range of clothes and shoes. This time, the pair join to honor past Spitfire team members Anthony Van Engelen, Kyle Walker, Chima Ferguson and John Cardiel.
Saluting the riders with sneakers, the footwear range centers around the AV Rapidweld Pro Lite, Kyle Walker Pro, Chima Pro 2 and an Era Pro executed in John Cardiel’s custom colorway. Offered in a range of soft hues and accented by dark blocks of color, the shoes boast “BURN FOREVER” verbiage and a slew of textiles, from fuzzy suede on the orange Cardiel Era Pro to glossy leather on the Rapidweld. The shoes are complemented by a range of co-branded gear, which ranges from sweatpants and hoodies to caps and tees, nearly all rich with co-branding. Completing the blue-and-white selection is a multifunctional skate duffle bag.
