'Fortnite' Mobile for iOS Now Free to Play, No Invite Necessary

Epic Game‘s previously invite-only iOS beta for Fortnite has finally gone free-to-play for Apple users. The mobile game will run on iPhones SE/6S or later, as such on the iPad mini 4/Air 2 or later, all on iOS 11. The title has become a breakout in pop culture due to its pick-up and play design and battle royale gameplay.
Breakout artists such as Drake and Travis Scott have recently shown to be fans in a Twitch session with pro streamer Ninja. Recently it was revealed the latter earns up to half a million playing the game.
Download the game from the App Store for free now, with no invite necessary. The latest update opens the servers to all players across PS4, XBox One, PC and now iOS; the previous update as well added a much-lauded guided missile launcher. Android users will still need to wait for their inclusion, coming soon.
