Last year, BILLY’S commemorated its new store in Sapporo with a limited edition Vans collaboration, dubbed the “Old Skool Band.” Offering premium construction, the shoe boasted an elastic strap on the vamp, allowing for laceless wear despite its functioning eyelets. To commemorate Sapporo store’s one-year anniversary, the Japanese retailer is bringing the Old Skool Band back, dropping the shoe at all of its Japanese locations. Once again, a leather Jazz Stripe complements the checkerboard pattern on the side panels, with the white midsole and black detailing remain intact.
The collaborative Old Skool isn’t available on BILLY’S web store; only its brick-and-mortar stores offer the shoe, available for ￥7,560 JPY (approximately $70 USD).
Recently, Vans linked with Concepts for a Times Square-inspired Old Skool and capsule range.
