After two dozen years spent locked away in the musician’s vault, the studio version of Prince‘s “Nothing Compares 2 U” cover has finally surfaced online. The song was most famously covered by Sinéad O’Connor in 1990, six years after this version was recorded. The video includes footage of Prince’s Revolution band practicing in Minnesota’s Flying Cloud Drive “Warehouse,” where this song was recorded.
