No.One’s Charlie Silhouette Gets Reworked Using Vintage Indigo Mud Cloths
Sourced directly from Mali, West Africa.
No.One, since its inception, has been lauded for its overreaching commitment to quality, actively combining age-old craftsmanship techniques with cutting-edge tech en route to creating one-of-a-kind handcrafted kicks. After visiting several renditions of its Bravo silhouette, the L.A.-based footwear purveyor is back, this time to present an all-new iteration of the Charlie.
Each pair is fashioned from vintage Indigo mud cloths sourced from Mali, Africa, which have been woven on a narrow strip loom, hand-stitched and then dyed in an indigo bath. The label’s three-layer Trinity Textile construction reinforces the heritage fabric, providing ample support to go along with its culturally-relevant design language. No.One’s Charlie Indigo Mud Cloth Edition will be available online as of April 11.
