For its Spring/Summer 2018 collection, fingercroxx focused on three aesthetic themes, namely “Seal Team Six”, “90s Party Scene” and “Neo World”. At the cross-section of its distinctive British-street stylings, the label has created a selection of eccentric offerings that combine functionality, design and en vogue trends. Tapping Leo Mandella – a rising fashion star — to front the campaign, the garments are backdropped amongst London’s most distinguished monuments while he effortlessly showcases the capsule’s style versatility.
Summer staples range from bottoms to headwear, jackets, hoodies and T-shirts, all of which encompass the label’s seasonal inspiration. For its military influence, with a pragmatic fashion sensibility, the imprint sticks to a palette of khaki and beige, alongside camouflage patterning. Garments are adorned with skulls — in reference to Seal Team Six — while military badges add embellishments. However, its second motif brings ‘90s party culture to the contemporary by incorporating bold colors, in tandem with iridescence, along with its bigfoot logo. Lastly, the “Neo World” touts monochromatism and utilitarianism with pieces that are fashioned with discreet details and technical weather and water-repellent fabrics.
