COPSON Teams Up With New Balance For European-Summer Inspired Collaboration
“Slow sipping at the beach bar.”
London-based label COPSON has collaborated with New Balance for an understated and summer-ready take on the sock-like 247 silhouette. The joint sneaker builds on COPSON’s reputation as a brand heavily inspired by the colors and vibe of European summers, with a lookbook and short film shot on location in Ibiza complementing the label’s aesthetic.
The sneaker features a knitted upper in “Cannoli Cream”, which is offset by leather detailing in a light grey around the heel and across the upper. This upper sits on top a classic gum sole, with New Balance’s cushioning technology used in the midsole. Other features of the shoe include the classic New Balance logo in white, and a COPSON lace tag. COPSON describes the collaboration as “somewhat of a “Sunday Best” option, it’s perfectly primed for slow sipping at the beach bar.” Take a look at the sneakers above, with the collaboration set to drop at select retailers on April 28.
