M.C. Escher and Nendo Unite For Massive Immersive Exhibition
To display at the National Gallery of Victoria.
Late Dutch graphic artist M.C. Escher will headline the 2018 blockbuster show at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, Australia with an immersive exhibition space by Japanese design house Nendo. “Between Two Worlds: Escher x Nendo” will boast 160 prints and drawings by Escher, displayed in a deeply immersive space that will distort geometry, space and perception much like the iconic artist’s mind-twisting optical illusions. This will be the first major Australian exhibition spanning M.C. Escher’s works between 1916 to 1969.
