Lüm-Tec Introduces New Combat Field Series
A military timepiece with vintage design details.
American-based watchmakers Lüm-Tec have steadily built up a reputation for crafting quality timepieces, often of the military-themed variety, that boasts proprietary luminescence technology. New to its expansive catalog is the Combat Field Series, which is based off its Combat B field watch, though reimagined with vintage-inspired details.
The watch’s Swiss-made automatic movement is protected by a shock-absorbing mounting system and Viton gaskets — effectively playing into its 100-meter depth rating. Creatively speaking, key design accents include the tan-hued lume that gives each piece a stylistic heritage appeal, a double-curved sapphire crystal dome, coin-edge bezel, onion crown and sword hands, amongst much others.
Priced at $895 USD, three different variations are on offer, with 100 pieces of each model being made. The Lüm-Tec Combat Field Series is now available online for pre-order.
Speaking of statement watches, this $39,000 USD watch uses liquid to tell time.
