HYT gives us a look at another one of its highly sophisticated timepieces, the HYT H0 x Eau Rouge. The watch is something out of a sci-fi novel, blending engineering with science to come up with a highly-functional watch. Using proprietary technology, two bellows pump a micro-litre of colored and clear liquid around the dial, giving a physical reference of time, complete with 12-hours and 24-hour time markings. The most impressive thing is that the entire watch is mechanically powered, and offers additional complications like minute and seconds split into two separate subdials, and a power reserve display at 2 o’clock. And in case you are wondering, the watch is water resistant to 30 meters, and has an impressive power reserve of 65 hours.

Priced at $39,000 USD, this is far from an entry level watch, but more so suited for the seasoned collector that’s looking for something different in their rotation. If fashion watches are more your look, Gucci has just released its Black Tiger dive watch.
