Japanese megaretailer BEAMS manages an array of stores with more niche focal points than the normal BEAMS brand; its International Gallery BEAMS outposts focus on emerging international designers, with an emphasis on mature, forward-looking menswear. To showcase some of the season’s best brands, the label debuts seasonal lookbooks, offering a look at some of the top items from its seasonal buys.
For Spring/Summer 2018, International Gallery BEAMS highlights instantly-recognizable graphic goods from Kappa Kontroll’s latest collection alongside comfortable reworked staples from emerging menswear label Namacheko and Studio Nicholson. Daniel W. Fletcher’s sporty tailoring accompanies relaxed basics from FILL THE BILL, while leather shoes from Hereu and mid-top sneakers from FOOT THE COACHER × inov-8 are indicative of both the store’s menswear roots and its progressive new direction.
