This Piano Rework of Frank Ocean's 'Blonde' Album Is Essential
Introducing ‘Piano Tribute to Frank Ocean.’
An unnamed artist has cooked up a piano cover of Frank Ocean‘s latest studio album, Blonde. Fittingly-titled Piano Tribute to Frank Ocean, the LP features 15 creative reworks of some of Ocean’s biggest 2016 records. Brought to light by DJBooth, the “Blond Piano” project was initially unveiled on March 19 without any major promotional campaign to back it. As opposed to a simple remix for live settings and car speakers, the pianist behind the tribute clearly wanted to craft something original and creatively fresh that fans can take time to digest.
