Five 'Game of Thrones' Actors/Actresses Set to Make $2.5 Million USD Per Episode for Seasons 7 and 8
But only one will sit on the Iron Throne.
Game of Thrones recently unveiled the first photos from the highly anticipated seventh season and now a report highlights what some of the show’s most popular actors and actresses will be making for the final two seasons. Signing new deals, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) are set to earn up to £2 million GBP (~$2.56 million USD) per episode. The contracts contain bonus clauses based on the “shared percentages of syndication payments received from more than 170 countries in which the series is broadcast,” the report states. Reruns of old episodes will also benefit the now world famous crew.
Tune in on July 16 for the premiere of Game of Thrones season 7.
