Famed Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry is set to design a new beachfront complex containing two restaurants in L.A., after the County Board of Supervisors gave the project the green light. The two spaces will combine casual dining and fine dining, and will be overseen by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck.

Details of the project are currently unclear, with only initial models from Gehry having been submitted so far. The early images show the project as having three turrets arranged in an asymmetrical formation. There’s also glass walls offering views over the beach and sloped pathways leading to the sea.
