The 'Fortnite' Guided Missile Launcher Is Gone

Say goodbye, Fortnite fans: the game’s powerful guided missile launcher is no more. As part of today’s update, Epic announced that it was doing away with the game-changing weaponry.

“We’ve gotten a lot of feedback around the Guided Missile, in particular concerns over fairness and strength of the weapon,” Epic said on Reddit. “We share your concerns, so we’ve put the Guided Missile into the vault while we figure out the next steps for its future.”

Though relatively rare, the guided missiles have continually turned games on their heads since they were introduced last month.
