Stockholm-based Eytys‘s Angel sneaker is one of the chunky footwear silhouettes that has the potential to replace the Balenciaga Triple S. The heavy-duty model takes cues from the barrio style of ’90s East LA and classic trail shoe designs, and so far has been offered in a range of neutral colorways in leather, suede and canvas options.

The latest iteration of the Eytys Angel LWBG, presumably for leather white/black/gum, takes its neutral color palette to the extreme with a high contrast combo of a white leather upper, black midsole and gum outsole. Metal lace hooks and black rope laces reference the trail shoe look while adding more contrast to the design.

The Eytys Angel LWBG will release on April 25 at Eytys’s online store and physical locations, as well as Dover Street Market NY. If you’re looking for more chunky models, adidas is restocking the YEEZY 500 “Super Moon Yellow.”
