Drake to Drop 'Fortnite'-Related Song If Epic Games Makes a Hotline Bling Emote
“Someone’s gonna do it. Someone’s gonna pull it off.”
Fornite is seemingly becoming a cultural phenomenon of sorts and as of late, the incredibly popular multiplayer game is beginning to diverge into the realms of hip-hop. Last night, Drake joined a live stream with notorious Twitch streamer Ninja where he not only teamed up for cooperative player session, but also discussed the possibility of dropping a Fortnite-related song, but only under one condition: if Epic Games made a “Hotling Bling” emote. “Someone’s gonna do it. Someone’s gonna pull it off. I say when Epic gives me the emote, when Epic gives me the Hotline Bling emote, I’ll do it. Until then, I’m on strike” said Drake.
Meanwhile, Drizzy also mentioned in the video that Murda Beatz sampled the Fortnite intro for a beat just days prior. With that being said, during an Instagram live stream last week, Drake and Murda Beatz announced a new upcoming single, so it’s possible fans may get that Fortnite track more sooner than later. Stay tuned.
