Converse CONS Celebrates New Skate Film With “Purple” Pack
To mark the Ben Chadourne-directed clip featuring Sean Pablo and Sage Elsesser.
Converse CONS — the brand’s skateboarding division — has revealed a new footwear capsule to accompany the upcoming release of its first ever full-length skate film. Titled Purple, the film’s name continues on to the sneakers with a bright purple colorway being used for both the Chuck Taylor All Star Pro and the One Star CC Pro.
The subtle skate-ready take on the One Star silhouette comes in premium suede, and features the white star branding on its heel. For the high-top Chuck Taylor All Star, the typical Converse heel branding is replaced by the movie’s logo and the sneaker comes with extra padding. Watch the trailer below, with the film — which features appearances from Sean Pablo, Sage Elsesser and Mike Anderson amongst others and is directed by Ben Chadourne — set to drop alongside the footwear capsule via the Converse CONS web store at some point in May.
In other Converse news, the label recently dropped a new capsule of summer-ready kicks.
