Porsche Hits the Backcountry With Mission E Cross Turismo
The luxury brand’s latest off-road ride is electric-powered.
This year’s Geneva Motor Show has been an eventful one with big reveals like Toyota’s Supra Racing concept and the new 4-door Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe/. Keeping in line with the other headline-worthy debuts is Porche‘s electric Cross Utility Vehicle, the Mission E Cross Turismo.
Despite its sleek structure, which includes a low-cut bonnet and trim front spoiler, the car boasts increased ground clearance and flexible interior & load-carrying systems, making it ideal for those seeking outdoor adventures. The boot hosts a rail system with adjustable and removable straps, and the Cross Turismo’s backrests can be folded down for added storage space. As expected from Porsche, the car is replete with high-end detailing ranging from eye-tracking display controls to ambient lighting, and it can still hit 0-to-60 in under 4 seconds.
Check out the Mission E Cross Turismo’s specs below. Elsewhere at the show, Rolls Royce debuted a trio of custom Phantoms and the Dawn Aero Cowling.
