The founder, CEO and creative director of Rag & Bone, Marcus Wainwright, teams up with Leica for a bespoke camera. The M Monochrom offers a custom matte black body and glow-in-the-dark detailing, along with the brand’s usual high-end performance.

Seeking to distill the essence of Leica’s cameras to its purest form, Wainwright dressed the camera in a discrete black finish and minimized branding to place the focus on the M Monochrom’s capabilities, as opposed to its looks. Settings are represented by engravings on the camera’s surface, while fluorescent paint allows for low-light usage. A matching cowhide leather trim grants the grip an extra layer of understated luxury, and the Summicron-M 35 mm f/2 ASPH lens ensures street photographers a pleasant bokeh and quality image.

Limited to a mere 125 pieces, the Leica M Monochrom “Stealth Edition” goes on sale March 20. Check out a breakdown of the design with Wainwright below.
