Kenzo Founder Kenzo Takada Gives a Portrait of His Hands
“The way we use it shows what kind of person we are.”
Kenzo‘s iconic Japanese-French founder and designer Kenzo Takada gives an unorthodox portrait of himself via a video profile of his hands. The short visual was created by Buenos Aires-based film collective 1985 and Landia, who along with Takada, affirm that hands can reveal an individual’s creativity, secrets and beliefs.
“We believe hands can tell you a lot about a person, because hands do not have a social construction,” says 1985, “they’re the same when we are with people and when we are alone.”
