Brooklyn-based filmmaker Josh Hayward paints an emotive portrait of a Muay Thai boxer in a short film that explores the rituals of Bangkok’s boxing culture and the psyche of a fighter. The three-and-a-half minute visual takes to the training grounds of a Buddhist Temple and in Bangkok’s legendary Rajadamnern stadium, where the centuries-old tradition of Muay Thai lives on and the grueling physical and psychological pressure sustain.
