Hyundai Genesis Debuts Stunning Concept Car at New York Auto Show
The electric Essentia boasts a lightweight carbon fiber frame.

Of all the treats for the eyes at the New York Auto Show, few could compete with the Essentia concept car unveiled by Hyundai Genesis. The Korean manufacturer’s luxury arm, Genesis introduced an ultra-sleek all-electric, four-seat concept sports car, complete with butterfly doors. Its streamlined design is emphasized by an elongated hood and glossy carbon fiber frame, which sweeps around the spacious cabin — the engineers claim the Essentia has “plenty” of luggage space. AI-powered Genesis Intelligent Assistant functionality allows for two-way dialogue and voice commands, with mobile payments made possible via the car’s center screen.
