Lightweight and portable, too.

The Disappear Retreat is a self-sufficient, reflective glass-covered structure by COULSON that blends into any surrounding and leaves minimal impact on the environment. The 83 square-feet retreat reduces its living footprint to zero energy, zero waste and zero water with spotted thin-film PV in the south glass wall that generates all the energy needs from the sun.

The Disappear Retreat is lightweight enough to be transported with a standard trailer and requires no active heating or cooling system thanks to super-insulation and thermal bridge-free details. The interior features weathered wood paneling for a warm touch, while a glass roof lets in natural light during the day and offers prime views of the starry sky at night.

Check out the Disappear Retreat above and for something bigger, the Oak Refuge cabin is the ultimate bachelor’s pad located in upstate New York.
