Casio G-SHOCK MR-G "Arashi-Tuchime" Is Hammered With the Samurai Spirit

The MR-G “Arashi-Tuchime” G2000HA-1A is the newest addition to Casio G-SHOCK‘s top-end lineage. This timepiece is created using a traditional Japanese hammering technique and made in collaboration with third generation master craftsman Biho Asano, who “individually hammered each bezel, resulting in an artistic, titanium sword guard finish on every watch.” Each piece is one-of-a-kind due to the textured hammer tone on the bezel, which boasts shades of copper and deep violet inspired by the murasaki-gane metal and suaka copper material.
The MR-G G2000HA-1A’s sapphire, crystal, and titanium case and band are created using a special hardening treatment that makes it several times stronger than regular titanium. The watch is solar-powered and has a three-way time sync automatically regulates via Bluetooth or GPS. Other standard G-SHOCK details include 200-meter water resistance, world time in 39 cities, LED super illuminator light, alarm clock, stopwatch, countdown timer, full auto calendar and more.
The Casio G-SHOCK MR-G “Arashi-Tuchime” G2000HA-1A retails for $7,400 USD and will be available beginning in July 2018 at select jewelers and at G-SHOCK Soho in New York City. To turn it up another notch, the jaw-dropping Rolex “Rainbow” Daytona has returned in Everose.
