Sneaker Freaker & New Balance Give the 574 a "Tassie Devil" Makeover
The popular colorway returns.
For New Balance‘s “Iconic Collaborations” series, Sneaker Freaker gave the 574 model its famous “Tassie Devil” colorway. The Tasmanian Devil-inspired purple and black colorway first debuted on the 998 silhouette in 2013 and generated so much demand that lead to a sequel 997.5 “Tassie Tiger” edition in 2016, which featured a brick red palette.
The 574 “Tassie Devil” features an eggplant purple and black suede upper, light purple suede heel tabs, speckled detailing at the upper sole and a light lavender shark tooth design on the white midsole. Sneaker Freaker will be “making a healthy donation” towards saving the Tasmanian devil from a facial tumor disease epidemic.
