Settlement and commerce firm Origami recently relocated to Tokyo’s Roppongi district, complete with a new conceptual space to show for it. Supervised by renowned architectural mind Nobuo Araki, the new office centers around the revolving themes of “Incompleteness/Development” and “Transparency” and its relation to the organization’s core DNA.

The notion of “Incompleteness/Development” is an indirect reflection of Origami’s constant state of change and evolution — choosing to use furniture/appliances that can easily move around as needed and/or expand to meet the growing needs of each team. “Transparency,” on the other hand, is highlighted in the open floor plan, communal workstations, and fully visible office rooms, which succeeds in fostering free-flowing communication. Peep the gallery above for a closer look.
