Following the release of his long-awaited Victory Lap album that was featured on our Best New Tracks music roundup, Neighborhood Nip made a voyage to the Big Apple where he dropped into Hot 97 to blaze the airwaves. The freestyle was a vicious six-minute lyrical onslaught over Nas’ all-time classic, “It Was Written.”
Based on the Funk Master Flex’s facial reactions, it was pretty clear he was astonished by Nipsey’s ability to deliver hard-hitting bars over an East Coast classic. Listen in below.
