Lupe Fiasco Defeats Legendary Gamer Daigo Umehara in 'Street Fighter V'
Lupe Fiasco may have a future as professional gamer.

In what can be construed as the weirdest take down ever, legendary Street Fighter player Daigo “The Beast” Umehara was taken down by none other than Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco. The two squared off at the just released Street Fighter V on February 15 as sponsored by MadCatz, where the match went to the lyrically-conscious artist in a 3-2 win. While some are arguing that the match was staged to let Lupe win, it’s hard to ignore a match like this when Lupe, a known gamer, goes up against a player who once parried an entire Chun-Li Super Art in Street Fighter III: Third Strike during EVO 2004 — a feat that will forever be engrained into the history of competitive gaming.
