New Balance Numeric Head Down Under in 'Northbound & Down'
Arto, PJ, Levi, and co. take Australia.
New Balance Numeric’s skate team ventured to Australia last year to shoot some footage for the shoe brand’s latest video, Northbound & Down. The video follows the course of the team’s road trip from Melbourne to Sidney via Canberra and features an all-star-caliber squad, including Arto Saari, PJ Ladd, Tom Knox, Marius Syvanen, Levi Brown, and many others skating to a soundtrack that includes a tribute to Ennio Morricone’s “The Ecstasy of Gold” and Nick Cave. Direction duties were handled by Russell Houghton and James Messina of the Los Angeles-based Brindle Collective video production company. Check out the video above.
