Lil Uzi Vert was recently invited to Hot 97 to chat with Ebro, Laura Stylez and Peter Rosenberg. The Philadelphia rapper talked about a variety of topics: playing the trumpet back in school, how he likes to live in the moment and improvise on the go, and why he is not a fan of “old” hip-hop. When Ebro requested for Uzi to rap over a DJ Premier beat, he refused, explaining that neither he nor his fans enjoy that type of music. So instead, Ebro hit him with the instrumental of Vert’s favorite 808s & Heartbreaks song, “Robocop.” Watch the interview above and let us know what you think about it.
