Visit Vienna in This Breathtaking Hyperlapse
Find out why the Austrian capital is the world’s most liveable city.
Only just named the world’s most liveable city in Mercer’s authoritative Quality of Living survey, this stunning Hyperlapse of Vienna is a timely addition to the boost in the historic city’s international profile. While the study cited Vienna’s affordable housing, cheap public transport and safe public environment as major reasons for its ranking, the above video, shot by filmmakers Thomas Pöcksteiner and Peter Jablonowski, aptly demonstrates the rich cultural and architectural scenes of the Austrian capital, flitting from opera performances to music festivals, and surveying everything from the city’s tramways (known as “Bims” to locals) to its soaring cathedrals and Habsburg-era palaces.
