Always one to deliver when the camera is turned on him, Kendrick Lamar seems to be plotting something serious for his upcoming Grammys showcase. LL Cool J is said to have called Kendrick’s plans for Grammy night “very controversial,”and Grammy producer Ken Ehrlich described Kendrick’s set to Billboard as such:
Controversial… I’m not sure that’s the right word. Certainly it’s provocative. One of the things that’s important to us with the show and I think to the Academy is that we encourage artistic freedom and artistic license.
